How it works

Up and running in an afternoon

No lengthy setup, no consultants, no training manual. Answer a couple of questions and your portal is built around exactly what your club does.

Four simple steps

From sign-up to your first event

01

Create your club

Name it, pick your type, and tick what your club does. Your portal is built around your answers — takes about two minutes.

02

Add your members

Import a spreadsheet or invite people by email. Parents add their own children, so you don't have to.

03

Make it yours

Drop in your logo and colours, design the members' dashboard, and add a rotating photo slideshow.

04

Start running it

Take payments, open events, and send your first broadcast. The admin starts running itself.

Step one

A portal built around your club

When you set up, a two-step wizard asks one simple question: what does your club do? You tick what you use, and the sidebar and dashboard show only that. A photography club and a swim squad get completely different homes from the same platform.

  • Only the features you actually use — nothing else cluttering the screen
  • Turn modules on and off anytime as your club grows
  • Your own web address — yourclub.clubplaces.co.uk — from day one

Step two

Your members, imported in minutes

Upload a CSV or spreadsheet and we'll map your columns automatically. Most clubs are fully migrated within ten minutes — then members keep their own details up to date from there.

  • Bulk import and send invites in one go
  • Parents link and manage their children themselves
  • Custom fields for emergency contacts, medical notes, kit sizes — anything

The best bit

Next year's committee will thank you

No training manual required. When the treasurer or secretary steps down, the new one logs in and it just makes sense — the club's knowledge stays in one place, not in someone's head.
